Slavica Sterk ends her rich and successful career
Slavica Sterk has been the face and power behind the distributor of the Adria brand in the UK since 2007, and after 18 years has recently made the decision to retire marking the end of an incredibly successful career and a legacy of excellence in the leisure industry
Throughout Slavica’s time at Adria, she made significant contributions to the success and growth of the organisation. Moving over from her home country of Slovenia 13 years ago to be able to fully dedicate herself to her role, Slavica’s leadership, dedication, and passion for this industry will leave an undeniable mark on the company and its team members.
Over almost two decades, Slavica managed to stabilise the company and successfully lead it through all of the turbulent periods of recession, lockdown and changes within the industry. The sales network has expanded and there has been a huge increase in sales over the years. With Slavica’s passion for her work and belief in the brand, Adria has become more and more recognised, respected and desirable among customers.
As one of very few female directors within the manufacturing of leisure vehicles in the UK, we can safely say she has made her mark and set the foundations for the Adria brand to continue to be a success!

My goal was to ‘turn the boat’ in the right direction as Adria was not in the best shape back in 2007 and the brand was invisible, but over the years I have managed to enable the growth and have really enjoyed the roller coaster of a ride making many friends along the way.

Slavica will officially retire of her role on the 31st of March 2025 bringing her successful career to an end. We wish Slavica the best for her future and know how much this industry will miss her face and wisdom.
Andrew Taczynski, an integral part of the Adria UK team for over 19 years will take over the position of Managing Director as of the 1st of April 2025 and will continue to invest the same amount of drive, innovation and passion into the brand with his wealth of knowledge in the industry.

I, and my dedicated team, will endeavour to continue the positive trajectory that Slavica has planned, strived for, and achieved, for Adria in the UK during her stewardship.

My 19 years’ experience working for Adria in a variety of roles stands me in good stead, and I am confident in my ability to carry out all requirements.
