What freedom does owning a Campervan give you?

The freedom of owning a campervan really is fantastic for your wellbeing, to allow you to be able to get away from your routine and the pressures that often overwhelm us at home.

Freedom and adventure

The best thing about owning a campervan is the freedom it allows you. Going on holiday whenever and (almost) wherever you like has never been easier! If you see we’re in for a sunny weekend, you can simply plan a last minute adventure and hit the road. Campervanning and the great outdoors go hand in hand and it's a great way to get close to nature, enjoy some time out, all whilst enjoying some home comforts.

An affordable holiday option

So the initial outlay of buying a campervan is naturally a large purchase. However it is also an investment which holds it's value and with the right research into campsites and local amenities, there’s no reason why a campervanning holiday can’t be a really affordable option. Dining in or simply lighting the BBQ means you can enjoy wonderful family meals without the expense of eating out.

Campsite fees vary from location to location but the UK clubs offer a wide range of affordable sites and by becoming an annual member you get some great discounts.

Making memories

The interior space of a campervan does mean that you are all extra close whilst on holiday but this does mean that you get to spend quality time together and with the addition of an awning, you can double your living space just like that.

As adults looking back, we can all remember family holidays but with a campervan, you tend to remember each adventure and location because it is such a mix up of activities all rolled into one trip.

Take the pets along!

From research, one of the very reasons people purchase a caravan, motorhome or campervan is so that the pets can join them on holiday! Your dog no doubt loves to explore the great outdoors and a camping trip is the perfect way for you and your four-legged friend to experience new sights, sounds and scenery together!

There really are some fantastic sites which are dog friendly and offer plenty of walking routes nearby.

Still enjoy your home from home comforts

Campervan holidays are a great way to travel, giving you the independence to go where you want but still enjoy a home from home and with the ability to lounge, cook and sleep in comfort with everything at hand.

Ovens, heating, comfortable mattresses and a shower are all very welcome comforts when on the road and you still have plenty of room to pack outdoor seating and dine alfresco when it is glorious weather.
